Aidan McAdams completes his move to Rangers from Celtic

360 Sports are delighted to confirm that our client Aidan McAdams has today completed his transfer to Rangers from Celtic for an undisclosed fee. Aidan has signed a three-year contract and will join up with his new teammates on the 26th June for pre-season.

Aidan had been at the Celtic Academy since the age of eight, progressing through the youth ranks before signing his first professional contract in June 2015. Last season, Aidan featured for the Celtic Development Team and was also involved in the first team squad for a trip to McDiarmid Park back in February. The talented shot-stopper has also represented Scotland at youth level in the Victory Shield and also at the Under-17s European Championships Finals in Azerbaijan last summer.

On signing for Rangers, Aidan said: “It was an extremely tough decision to leave Celtic but I am buzzing to have signed for Rangers as it is such a massive club with a proud history! The games programme for next season was really appealing so it will be good to further my development playing against some of the best academies and teams from around the world as well as coming up against first-teams here in Scotland.

I had a really positive chat with Craig Mulholland and the first team goalkeeping coach- Jose Belman- about my pathway and development opportunities at the club and I am thankful to the team at 360 Sports for getting the deal over the line. I have been privileged to have been involved with the team at 360 for some time now and I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work and advice along the way”

Our Head of Football- Elliott Fillingham- added, “The team at 360 Sports are absolutely delighted for Aidan and his family on his move to Rangers and we wish him every success as he gets set to start a fresh challenge. Aidan is a very talented lad with an impressive temperament and desire for the game and therefore had several offers at this juncture of his career. However, having spoken to the coaching staff at Rangers- plus the games programme for next season- it was clear that there was only one place Aidan wanted to go. As always, we look forward to working with Aidan in the years ahead and have high hopes for his development”
